My Story
What started as a passion for woodworking and home projects quickly grew into a love for laser engraving — turning everyday materials like wood, leather, and glass into meaningful, personalized gifts. Every piece I create is designed to be as unique as the person receiving it.
At Plywood Mom Designs, I blend my background in marketing and design with my hands-on love for building and creating. From charcuterie boards and custom glassware to personalized kids' gifts and décor, each piece is thoughtfully crafted in my home workshop — often with my kids peeking in to see what Mom's working on next.
Family, Community, and Craftsmanship
As a mom of three (and two Boston Terriers who think they run the shop), I draw inspiration from the joy and chaos of family life. My work is also deeply connected to my community — from local school fundraisers to neighborhood events and collaborations with small businesses.
I believe in creating gifts that bring people together and celebrate the moments that matter most. Each piece that leaves my workshop carries a little piece of that belief with it.
